Message
from the
Principal
I am excited to report
more good news at Baker Aviation. Our recent multi-million dollar
construction and renovation project is coming to an end. Our facilities
are truly stat-of-the-art. We have had visitors from literally around the world
come visit us to see the great things that are being done here.
The summer Build & Soar Program
is going great! Numerous students are working with Barrington Irving's
Experience Aviation
and are in the process of building a plan! See Baker and Experience
Aviation students on
CNN.
We continue to search for the donation of a large
commercial aircraft in order to provide our students with additional training
and skills.
We are accepting applications for the 2008-09
school year. Due to the demand for our programs, we only have a few remaining seats available
for students who will be in grades 9-12 next year. If you
are interested in attending Baker Aviation as a high school student, please
contact
Ms. Sigillo, Counselor, ASAP!

Congratulations to Ms. Noemy Pascual, instructor at George T. Baker Aviation
School, on her student TSA team on their winning 1st (Paulina Alvarez) and 2nd
(Christian Harrison) place in the Electricity/Electronics competition at the TSA
Florida State Fair. This is the first time that Baker Aviation has competed in
the TSA FL State Fair competition - not bad for the first time!
Thank
You!
George T. Baker would
like to thank Debbie Chin and
Grainger for their contribution of $500 towards our scholarship program.
Support from businesses such as Grainger is greatly appreciated as every dollar
